The Korean Geographical Society (KGS) and the Korea-America Association for Geospatial and Environmental Sciences (KAGES) are proud to co-host a joint webinar.

Experts from various sub-disciplines will discuss the evolution of research and future prospects, ultimately aiming to strengthen academic exchange and cooperation between the geography communities in both countries. KAGES는 2015–2016년 제1기 학생 이사 선출 이후 매년 학생 이사를 선출해 왔으며, 학생 이사는 KAGES 일반 이사들과 함께 매월 온라인 이사회에 참석하여 협회의 발전 방향과 주요 운영 사항을 논의하고 결정하는 중요한 역할을 수행합니다.

학생 이사는 KAGES에서 다음과 같은 역할을 담당하게 됩니다.

• KAGES 이사진의 일원으로서 학생 회원을 대표
• 매월 온라인으로 진행되는 KAGES 이사회에 참석하여 다른 이사들과 소통하며 협회 운영 전반에 대한 의사 결정에 참여
• 학생 회원들의 의견을 대변하고, 학생 회원들의 KAGES 관련 활동을 촉진
• KAGES 총회에서 학생 회원들의 KAGES 관련 활동을 보고
• KAGES 웹사이트 및 소셜 미디어 관리

학생 이사의 임기는 1년 단임(single-term)입니다. 2026 AAG KAGES 모임에서 투표 결과가 공개됩니다.
